Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has changed his mind on the on-going debate surrounding Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Blues' all-time leading goalscorer was always in the corner of Messi over the past few years, but he has suddenly changed his mind after this season.
Lampard has now given the edge to the Manchester United star for his output and numbers over the past decade.
"I actually think for what Ronaldo's output and actual numbers and goals in big finals, and semi-finals like we've seen. I think I maybe give him the edge now.
"That's gonna start a load of hate now."
Ronaldo has bagged 10 goals in 15 appearances since his return to Manchester, while Messi has netted just four goals in 10 matches for Paris Saint-Germain.
