Since Opta Sports started collecting data during the 2006/07 season, no player in Europe's top five leagues has completed more dribbles than Barcelona's Messi. The Argentina international has competed 1 880 take-ons in the period since, at a success rate of 57.2%.
That's according to Squawka, who revealed that Messi has completed over 1 000 more dribbles more than arch-rival Ronaldo, who in turn ranks fifth after completing 816 dribbles at a lower success rate of 44%.

The pair are separated by second-placed Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard, who is the only other player to have completed more than 1000 dribbles, Fiorentina's Franck Ribery and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
Brazil superstar Neymar is the 10th-most prolific dribbler in Europe's top five leagues with 734 take-ons, although the PSG forward finds himself behind compatriot Roberto Firmino, who has completed two more.
