Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably one of the greatest goalscorers of all time, but this season has been his worst in front of goal in seven years.
Wonderkid Mbappe Writes UCL History
The Portuguese has enjoyed an incredible career so far, during which he has consistently found the back of the net for both club and country.
This season, the 32-year-old has scored just 20 La Liga goals so far, and has only three more league games to add to his tally.
By no means is Ronaldo's goal count poor, but it is a far cry from the numbers the footballing world has become accustomed to seeing from the forward, according to Transfermarkt.
Ronaldo's La Liga goals per season since joining Real:
2009/10 – 26 goals in 29 matches
2010/11 – 40 goals in 34 matches
2011/12 – 46 goals in 38 matches
2012/13 – 34 goals in 34 matches
2013/14 – 31 goals in 30 matches
2014/15 – 48 goals in 35 matches
2015/16 – 35 goals in 26 matches
2016/17 – 20 goals in 26 matches so far

The Portuguese has been rested more this season than in previous campaigns, but, despite this, has still been Los Blancos' most in-form attacker in the UEFA Champions League, with his 10 goals in 11 matches.
Ronaldo has been left out of four of Real's past seven La Liga fixtures, and also missed a further five matches through injury over the course of the season.
