Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was criticised by a former Red Devils star for smiling in his post-match interview after the defeat to Arsenal, and the Norwegian has hit back straight away.
United were less than impressive on New Year's Day after falling to a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, denting the Red Devils' top four aspirations.
Former United and Arsenal Robin van Persie was not impressed with the Norwegian smiling in his post-game interview and feels he should be mroe angry.
"When I listen to Ole, he sounds like a really nice guy," van Persie told BT Sport.
"I would like to see him a bit more mean at times, just be angry.
"I see him smiling now after a game like that. This is not the moment to smile."
Solskjaer was certainly not pleased with Van Persie's remarks and fired back at the former United striker.
"I don't know Robin and Robin doesn't know me," Solskjaer said, as per BBC Sport.
"He probably doesn't have a right to criticise my management style and I won't change.
The Red Devils will now turn their atenntion to the FA Cup this evening as they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux.
