Despite joining Barcelona just eight months ago, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be set for a sensational return to the Premier League before the transfer window closes.

The former Gabon international has made a positive impact in Spain since his January switch to the Catalan giants, but his playing time is expected to be affected by the arrival of Poland international Robert Lewandowski.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Aubameyang is being chased by Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea and is open to returning to London for the 2022/23 campaign.
The striker worked under Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund, with the German tactician recently admitting he still considers the ex-Arsenal captain as one of his players.
Aubameyang enjoyed some of his best goalscoring form with Tuchel as his head coach in the Bundesliga, scoring 79 times in just 95 appearances prior to his 2018 transfer to the Gunners.
Romano reports that a new meeting will be held on Thursday between the Blues and the 33-year-old forward to discuss personal terms, with Manchester United said to be ruled out of the running due to the player's desire to play in the UEFA Champions League.
Blaugrana manager Xavi Hernandez, meanwhile, is believed to want Aubameyang to stay at the club for the current campaign, which could hamper a deal from materialising.
