Real Madrid have reportedly want to sign a certain Premier League star to replace the outgoing Luka Modric ahead of the next season.
Los Blancos announced earlier this week that the Croatian midfielder will leave the club after the FIFA Club World Cup next month.

The Spanish giants and incoming manager Xabi Alonso are keen to bolster the midfield options next season and according to Cadenaser, the club have identified Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez and Bayer Leverkusen star Exequiel Palacios.
Alonso already has a relationship with Palacios, who has been with Leverkusen since 2020 and helped the club win their first-ever Bundesliga title.
Madrid have been linked with Fernandez in recent weeks, but the report claims the Blues are unlikely to entertain a sale in the off-season unless they get more than £106.8 million for his services.
The Argentine World Cup winner did recently reveal that he is a fan of the Spanish league
“The Premier League is more transitional, and La Liga is more tactical and intelligent. I really like the Spanish league," Fernandez said, as per La Perla Londres.
“Argentine football isn’t easy at all. It’s very competitive, they’re unforgiving, and everyone who goes there will have a hard time. It’s the most exciting football in the world.”
