Official: Real Madrid Confirm First Team Departure

LaLiga champions Real Madrid have confirmed yet another permanent departure of a first team player ahead of the new season.

Defender Miguel Gutierrez has completed a permanent move to fellow Spanish side Girona, the club have confirmed.

The 21-year-old racked up 10 appearances for the first team in the last couple seasons but has now left the club in search of regular game time.

Real Madrid CF and Girona FC have agreed on the transfer of player Miguel Gutiérrez.

Miguel Gutiérrez came to our academy in 2011 and has been part of Real Madrid ever since.

Our club thanks him for his work, commitment and dedication during the time he has belonged to Real Madrid, and wishes him and his family all the best in this new stage of his life.

Gutierrez becomes the seventh player to permanently leave the Santiago Bernabeu ahead of the new season.
