The kit was already revealed by Nike last week, with some reports suggesting that the sportswear manufacturer had jumped the gun.
While Barcelona broke with tradition for their 2019/20 home kit, which had a chequerboard design, the Catalan giants returned to a more traditional look for the upcoming season.
The club's new 2020/21 home strip features the famous vertical stripes in blue and maroon. The kit also boasts a yellow crew neck for the first time in 10 years.
"This season, the jersey is recovering its traditional vertical stripes, but is including gold as a distinctive element," a statement from the club's official website read.
"The 'blaugrana' stripes are bordered on each side by gold strips, which evoke the design of the club crest that the team wore on their shirts throughout the 1920s.
"Another outstanding feature of the new design is the roundneck collar that also has a gold-coloured rim, while the Catalan 'senyera' flag appears on the back, just underneath."
