With multiple reports linking Bernardo Silva with a move to Barcelona, the Portuguese playmaker has broken his silence regarding his future at Manchester City.
With three weeks left in the transfer window, reports linking the diminutive City star with a transfer to the Camp Nou have intensified.
According to ESPN, the Citizens have refuted claims that they had agreed a transfer fee for the midfielder with Barca, but the former AS Monaco man has not ruled out a move away from the Etihad Stadium.
"I've always said that I'm happy here, but I have no idea what's going to happen," the 28-year-old told the American sports media outlet.
"We'll see, honestly. My relationship with the club is very honest.
"I've been open with them and they know what I want. If I stay, I'm very happy and I will always respect this club and give all my best.
"If not, it's football and we'll just see what happens."
Since joining the blue half of Manchester in 2017, Silva has become an integral part of Pep Guardiola's team and one of the best in world as far as his position is concerned.
The Spaniard himself has made it known he does not want the Lisbon native to leave, but also admitted that he does not want to keep unhappy players.
City have already let Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling and Oleksandr Zinchenko leave in this transfer window after they made their wish to leave clear, but the 2016/17 Ligue 1 winner has reiterated that no matter what lies in his future, it will be done respectfully.
"It's a big club and they don't want players who are not happy at the club," Silva added.
"They always say to all of us that if you're not happy, you can go.
"Of course, they are in business and they want the right amount of money for letting us go, but personally it's a relationship with the club that is very respectful.
"They have always been honest with me and I have always been honest with them.
"As I said, I will always respect my relationship with Man City, with the fans, with the staff, with my teammates, so whatever happens, happens, and it, for sure, will happen in a very respectful way."
