The Frenchman has struggled since joining the Catalan club last year, but recently sought to set things straight in a tell-all interview in which he discussed his relationship with Messi, and called for supporters to be patient with him.
Since then, the 29-year-old Griezmann has scored twice in two games, including a stunning volley in the Blaugrana's 4-0 LaLiga win over Osasuna on Sunday.
In celebrating his latest goal, the former Atletico Madrid star produced a dance he had not done before, and explained after the game that it was for his daughter.
"This morning, I was having breakfast with my daughter and I asked her how she would like me to celebrate a goal," Griezmann explained, according to Sport.
"She told me to do this and that's how it came about!"
Griezmann also said he was delighted with the victory, and believes Barca can still win titles this season.
"It was an important win because those at the top keep winning and we have to be close to them," he added.
"We know the season is long and we want to be champions. Seeing how we played in the Champions League and again today, there are reasons to believe we can reach that objective."
'I Always Said Ronaldo Was The Best Until I Trained With Messi'
Griezmann has now scored four goals and assisted a further two strikes in 12 matches for Barcelona this season.
