Official: Champions League Play-Off Teams Revealed

Manchester City 3-2 Club Brugge 

Manchester City remain alive in the UEFA Champions League following a 3-1 victory over Club Brugge at the Etihad.

The Citizens had the ball in the back of the net after 16 minutes through Ilkay Gündogan's strike, but the celebrations were cut short due to the offside flag going up.

However, the visitors went ahead on the stroke of halftime courtesy of a strike from Raphael Onyedika.

Brugge's lead lasted just eight minutes as City pulled level in the 53rd minute via Mateo Kovacic, who surged towards the box and calmly slotted into the far corner.

City completed the turnaround after the hour mark when Joel Ordonez diverted Matheus Nunes' cross into his own net.

The hosts went on to make the game safe with 13 minutes to play when John Stones picked out the run of Savinho, who controlled and volleyed home, sealing the team's spot in the play-off.

Brest 0-3 Real Madrid

Real Madrid finished in the play-off places after defeating Brest 3-0 on Wednesday night.

Los Blancos got the opening goal in the 27th minute after weaving his way into the box before firing home a left-footed strike into the far corner.

The lead was doubled ten minutes after the halftime break when Lucas Vazquez raced into the box before picking out Jude Bellingham for the simple tap-in.

Rodrygo would go on to complete his brace in the 78th minute, as Los Blancos finished 11th and will be one of the seeded play-off teams.

FC Barcelona 2-2 Atalanta 

FC Barcelona had to settle for second spot in the League Phase after drawing 2-2 with Atalanta.

The Catalan giants got the breakthrough two minutes after the break  through Lamine Yamal, who rounded the goalkeeper before slotting into an empty net.

Hansi Flick's charges were pegged back after the hour mark, with Ederson firing past Wojciech Szczesny.

However, the LALIGA outfit restored their lead ten minutes when an un-marked Ronald Araujo nodded home Raphinha's corner at the far post.

That lead did not last long as the Europa League champions bagged the equaliser in the 79th minute after Mario Pasalic found the back of the net.

Girona 1-2 Arsenal 

Arsenal secured a third-place finish in the League Phase following a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Girona.

Arnaut Danjuma gave the Spanish side the lead in the 28th minute, but the Gunners were back on level terms ten minutes later through Jorginho's penalty.

Mikel Arteta's charges completed the turnaround three minutes before the break thanks to a strike from the returning Ethan Nwaneri.

PSV Eindhoven 3-2 Liverpool

Liverpool finished top of the League Phase despite losing 3-2 to PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night.

With top a Last 16 spot already secured, coach Arne Slot opted to leave out Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz and Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Reds still went ahead in the 28th minute Cody Gakpo continued his fine form by converting a penalty while Harvey Elliot also netted for the Reds on the stroke of halftime after Saint-Cyr Bakayo pulled one back.

Ismael Saibari put the hosts on level terms before Ricardo Pepi put the hosts ahead all in first-half stoppage time.
