Record-Breaking Ronaldo Rescues Victory For Portugal

Iceland 0-1 Portugal

Portugal recorded a fourth straight win in the European Championship qualifiers after defeating Iceland 1-0 on Tuesday night.

Cristiano Ronaldo kept his spot in the line-up as he became the first male footballer in history to reach 200 appearances for a national side.

The night belonged to Ronaldo, who went on to score the winning goal in the 89th minute with his fifth goal in the qualifying campaign.

Iceland finished the game with ten men after Willum Willumsson's dismissal in the second half.

The win keeps Portugal top of Group J with a perfect record while Iceland remain second from bottom.

Belgium 3-0 Serbia

Belgium maintained their unbeaten run in Group F after a 3-0 victory over Sebia at the A.Le Coq Arena.

After dropping points against Austria over the weekend, Belgium were gifted the opening goal on 37 minutes courtesy of an own goal from Rasmus Peetson.

The lead was doubled three minutes later thanks to Romelu Lukaku, who made it two goals in games qualifiers.

Johan Bakayoko wrapped up the scoring for the Red Devils late in the second half with his first goal for the national side.

Norway 3-0 Cyprus

Norway got back to winning ways in Group A after thrashing Cyprus 3-0 at the Ullevaal Stadion.

After a surprise loss to Scotland, the hosts found the breakthrough on 12 minutes thanks to a strike from Ola Solbakken, with Erling Haaland picking up the assist.

Haaland took over in the second half as he doubled Norway's lead from the penalty spot on 56 minutes before adding his second and the team's third goal on the hour mark.

Moldova 3-2 Poland

Poland suffered a shock defeat after throwing a two-goal lead in a 3-2 loss to Moldova.

The Polish opened the scoring after 12 minutes, with Arkadiusz Milik finding the back of the net after being set up by Robert Lewandowski.

Lewandowski got his name on the score-sheet in the 34th minute with his first goal in the qualifiers.

Moldova, however, came out firing in the second half and got back on level terms thanks to Ion Nicolaescu's brace, before Vladyslav Babohlo got the winning goal with five minutes remaining.
