According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona's bosses are keen on United forward Marcus Rashford. The 21-year-old has been one of the standout performers since Jose Mourinho got sacked and replaced Romelu Lukaku in the Red Devils' first-choice starting XI.
It is claimed that Barca believe Rashford would fit the profile of their next main striker, with the Spanish giants said to be looking for a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
However, the Blaugrana also know that getting Rashford will not be easy because he has no buyout clause and would cost at least €100 million (R1.6 billion).
The England international, though, only has 12 months left on his contract by the end of the season, which has many of Europe's top clubs on alert.

United are understood to be keen on extending Rashford's deal sooner rather than later and it has been claimed that they will offer him an eye-watering £180 000 (R3.3 million) a week deal until 2025.
Rashford has scored 10 goals and assisted another eight in 32 appearances for United this season.
