FC Barcelona have confirmed that they have agreed a new deal with Argentina international Lionel Messi.
The 30-year-old forward has signed a new four-year deal which will see him remain at the Spanish giants until 2021.

The Argentine is expected to sign the deal in the coming weeks, when he returns to the club for pre-season training.
"The Club is very happy with both the renewal and the commitment of Messi, the best player in history, who has played his full professional career at Barca and has led the team to an era of extraordinary success, the likes of which has never been seen in world football," a statement on the Blaugrana's official website read.
The Barcelona star made 52 appearances for his club last season, scoring 54 goals and assisting 19 further strikes in all competitions.
