Chelsea are reportedly set to for a battle with Premier League rivals Everton in a bid to lure a promising Real Madrid defender to England.
The Blues are looking to bolster their young squad after being unable to do transfer business over the previous two windows due to a ban.

The Blues have been linked with a move for Leicester City's Ben Chilwell, but the potential cost of signing the England international could force them to look at other options.
The London club is reportedly likely to make a higher offer than Everton for the player in the coming days.
