With more high-profile names making the switch to Major League Soccer recently, one FC Barcelona star admits he would be open to playing in America.
Ivan Rakitic has been linked with a departure from the Camp Nou for the past few months, with Serie A giants Inter Milan reportedly keen on the Croatian midfielder.
Antoine Griezmann recently revealed he hopes to play in the MLS later in his career, and Rakitic has now spoken highly of the emerging league.
"Maybe Beckham will call me," Rakitic joked to ESPN.
"You can really see that football is gaining more and more attention every year in the United States.
"I think it is really special to see the possibility of how football can continue to rise.
"Now you can watch an MLS game and say 'oh yes, I want to see it.'"
David Beckham's MLS side Inter Miami have been linked with Antoine Griezmann and Arturo Vidal in recent month.
