Hansi Flick has confirmed his first Germany squad for next month's FIFA World Cup qualifiers, with a few big names not making the cut.

The four-time world champions currently sit third in Group J after registering two wins and a draw in their opening thee games.
Flick has retained the bulk of the squad that was used under Joachim Low but there was a recall for Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus, who was not available for the European Championship due to injury.
Flick included eight Bayern Munich stars in the squad, which includes veteran attacker Thomas Muller and the off-form Leroy Sane.

However, there was no place in the squad for Mats Hummels and Emre Can while Matthias Ginter will miss out after testing positive for Covid-19.

Germany take on Liechtenstein on 2 Septmeber before they lock horns with Armenia on home soil and finish off their FIFA break away to Iceland.
