2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying Wrap

France 8-0 Kazakhstan

2018 World Cup winners France booked their ticket to next year's World Cup after thrashing Kazakhstan 8-0 on Saturday night.

The first half belonged to the reigning world champions after Kylian Mbappe netted a first-half hat-trick.

Didier Deschamps' charges enjoyed more success in the second half, as Karim Benzema bagged a brace while Adrien Rabiot, Antoine Griezmann and another Mbappe goal rounded off the win.

Belgium 3-1 Estonia

Belgium have qualified for the World Cup in Qatar after defeating Estonia - at the Stade Roi Baudouin

Christian Benteke opened the scoring for the Red Devils on 11 minutes, before Yannick Carrasco doubled the lead eight minutes after the break.

Erik Sorga pulled a goal for Estonia in the 70th minute, before Thorgan Hazard sealed the win and their World Cup ticket four minutes later.

Montenegro 2-2 Netherlands

The Netherlands will have to wait to secure their World Cup ticket after dropping points in their penultimate Group G clash.

Barcelona star Memphis Depay bagged a brace to put the Dutch 2-0 up on the night.

However, the hosts hit back through Ilija Vukotic and Nikola Vujnovic in the final 10 minutes of the second half.

Louis Van Gaal's charges now only need a point from their final qualifier on Tuesday night to qualify for tournament.
