The Brazilian became one of the most sought-after stars in the world due to his performances at Anfield, and eventually secured a big-money move to the Camp Nou in January 2018.
However, Coutinho struggled to settle and eventually went on loan to Bayern Munich last season, and went on to lift the UEFA Champions League trophy, among other titles, with the Bavarians.
After a decent loan spell, Barca brought Coutinho back into the fold, but his future still remains largely uncertain.
Arsenal were heavily linked with the midfielder in the previous transfer window, and there was also some speculation of a potential return to Liverpool, and it seems the Selecao star could be open to a return to England.
"The Premier League is one of the most exciting leagues in the world," Coutinho said, according to TeamTalk.
"To have the chance to play with a team like Liverpool will always be something I will feel grateful for. It's impossible to say what might or might not happen in the future. But right now my only focus is on being successful with Barcelona."
