The Catalan giants have confirmed that 19-year-old forward Vitor Roque has joined Real Betis on loan for the season.

Betis, as revealed in Barcelona's statement, will have the option to take the Brazilian on loan for a second campaign as part of the agreement.

The former Athletico PR talent has endured a frustrating start to life in Spain, after making only 16 appearances following his arrival in January this year.

Roque battled to impress ex-manager Xavi Hernandez, and had been strongly linked with a permanent sale amid interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Europe.
