Barca Star Accidentally Injures Fan With Car After Training

As fans swarmed to grab a picture with one of Barcelona's stars after a training session, a supporter was injured by a player in his car in the process.

Ronaldo Set For Return To Former Club?

Defender Ronald Araujo was on his way out of Barcelona's training complex when he was greeted by a group of fans who wanted to take pictures with him and get autographs.

While this is an activity many footballers are accustomed to, on this particular occasion the situation took a turn for the worst.

A supporter got a little too close, and while Araujo was trying to make his way out of the complex in his car, the 23-year-old accidently ran over the fan's foot, according to Goal.

The Uruguay international, upon realising what had transpired, stopped and got out of the car to greet the woman and ensure that she was properly attended to.

Medical staff from the Blaugrana then arrived on scene to further ensure the woman was OK.

The defender, much like the fan, is making a recovery of his own, having undergone surgery on his right thigh this past September.

Araujo is reportedly set to return to first-team action with Barca imminently, and will be hoping he can recover in time for the 2022 FIFA World Cup as well.
