According to Sport, the LaLiga outfit are now interested in signing Blues midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka as new coach Hansi Flick looks for reinforcements.
While Olmo is a good addition to the team, the likes of Pedri, Gavi and Frenkie de Jong are still struggling with injury and a new signing will certainly help the work load.
The 20-year-old has only been at Stamford Bridge for one season following his move from Aston Villa but an injury wrecked his 2023/2024 campaign.
The report claims that Spanish giants are already talks about a possible transfer for the young English midfielder.
There have been reports that Chukwuemeka might struggle to regular minutes under new coach Enzo Maresca this coming season.
