FA Cup Third Round Up

Swansea City booked their spot in the fourth round of the FA Cup with an emphatic 6-2 win over League Two side, Tranmere Rovers.

French striker, Bafétimbi Gomis, bagged a second half brace, while further strikes from Nathan Dyer, Tom Carrol, Modou Barrow and Wayne Routledge helped the Wales based side thrash Rovers.

West Bromwich Albion put their name into fourth round draw hat, after thumping Non-league side, Gateshead, 7-0 at the Hawthornes on Saturday.

Young striker Saido Berahino bagged four goals, while Victor Anichebe, Chris Brunt and James Morrsion rounded off the rout.

Manager-less Newcastle United were dumped out of the FA Cup after going down 1-0 to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Leonardo Ulloa scored the only goal of the game in the 39th minute to seal the Foxes' passage into the fourth round.

Meanwhile, AFC Bournemouth thrashed Rotheram 5-1, while Reading and Blackburn Rovers also booked their spot in the fourth round.
