Liverpool booked their spot in the next round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
Despite scoring the winner against Tottenham Hotspur during the week, Mario Balotelli retained his place on the bench, while Daniel Sturridge started for the Reds.
It was Alan Pardew's men who took the lead in the 15th minute, as Fraizer Campbell pounced on an error from Martin Skrtel to slot past Simon Mignolet.
Coutinho came close to leveling matters for Liverpool in the 23rd minute but his effort from distance forced Julian Speroni into a fine save.
Liverpool continued to pile on the pressure for the remainder of the first half but Speroni was on hand to deny the visitors on a few more occasions.
The Reds managed to level matters shortly after the halftime break courtesy of a fine volley from Daniel Sturridge, after the striker collected a pass from Jordan Henderson.
The comeback was completed in the 54th minute, as Adam Lallana was quickest to react to Mario Balotelli's saved effort and slotted into an empty net.
Palace pushed for an equaliser for most of the second half but could not bypass the Liverpool defence.
Brendan Rodgers side have now booked their spot in the sixth round of the cup and await to hear their opponents on Monday.
