It is reported that the 37-year-old will rejoin the Spanish club on a short-term deal, and that he rejected advances from Saudi Arabia and clubs in Turkey in order to head back to where his professional career started.
Ramos represented Sevilla on 49 occasions as a teenager prior to his move to Los Blancos in 2005, scoring three goals in that time.
The former Spain international was last on the books of Paris Saint-Germain in France, leaving the club prior to the arrival of his ex-international manager Luis Enrique.
