UEFA Europa League Wrap: African Star's Late Winner Sends Arsenal Crashing Out

Arsenal were dumped out of the UEFA Europa League following a 2-1 loss to Olympiakos in extra-time at the Emirates Stadium.

After Arsenal won the first leg 1-0 in Greece, the visitors got the opening goal through Pape Cisse in the 56th minute, which ultimately sent the game to extra-time.

The Gunners got their goal with six minutes left of extra-time thanks to a superb over-head kick by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

However, the Greek giants got their crucial away goal in the 119th minute thanks to Moroccan forward Youssef El-Arabi's composed finish.

Inter Milan booked their spot in the last 16 after claiming a 2-1 win in the seocnd leg behind closed doors at the San Siro.

After won the first leg 2-0, the hosts took a surprising lead after 26 minutes through Cauly's strike.

However, Inter hit back through Cristiano Biraghi in the 31st minute before Romelu Lukaku put the home side ahead just before the break.

Bayer Leverkusen sent FC Porto packing after a 3-1 victory at the Estádio Do Dragão.

Goals from Lucas Alario, Kerem Demirbay and Kai Havertz sealed victory for the visitors while Moussa Marega bagged the consolation for Porto.

Wolverhampton Wanderers reached the last 16 in their debut campaign, despite suffering a 3-2 defeat to Espanyol in the second leg.

Wolves had won the first leg 4-0, but even a hat-trick from Jonathan Calleri could save Espanyol in the second leg as Adama Traore and Matt Doherty netted for the visitors to make it 3-2.

Ajax Amsterdam were bundled out of the tournament, despite claiming a 2-1 win in the second leg.

Getafe claimed a 2-0 win last week and they made 3-0 on aggregate five minutes into the second leg through Jamie Mata's strike.

Danilo and Carel Eiting pulled two goals back for the Dutch giants, but the Spanish outfit managed to deny their counterparts a third goal.

Sevilla advanced to the next round on the away goals rule following a goalless draw with Cluj in the second leg.

The 1-1 draw registered in Romania last week was enough to send Sevilla through.
