Venue: Old Trafford
The Red Devils were unchanged from the first leg win in Bilbao last week, while the visitors were without brothers Inaki and Nico Williams, who both missed out through injury.
The visitors nearly got off to the perfect start after ten minutes when Alex Berenguer collected a pass from Gomez ten yards out from goal, but sent his curling effort well over the target.
Bilbao did take the lead on 30 minutes when Mikel Jauregizar picked up a loose ball around 25 yards out and sent a superb curling effort past goalkeeper Andre Onana for his second goal of the tournament.
United had a big chance to pull level on the night five minutes before the break when Patrick Dorgu sent Alejandro Garnacho through on goal, but the Argentine's attempted lob sailed wide with only goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala to beat.
Amorim rang the changes in the second half as Luke Shaw, Amad Diallo and Mason Mount replaced Noussair Mazraoui, Manuel Ugarte and Garnacho just before the hour mark.
The change paid off in the 72nd minute when Lenny Yoro played the ball into Mount, who turned his marker and sent a curling finish into the far corner to make it 4-1 on aggregate.
The Red Devils completed the turnaround eight minutes later as Casemiro bagged his second goal in the tie by nodding home a free-kick from Bruno Fernandes' free-kick at the near post.
United made the game safe with five minutes left on the clock when Diallo raced to the byline before pulling the ball back for Rasmus Hojlund to turn home.
There was enough time for United to add a fourth goal in second-half stoppage time as Mount completed his brace by sealing the team's spot in the final by showing great composure to score from 40 yards out with the goalkeeper out of his box.
