According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, the Portuguese tactician has once again resorted to drastic measures to ensure his side beat Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League final this week.

The publication claims Mourinho has put in place rules that permit only "essential staff" from being in and around the training base, after doing similar last year before Roma won the UEFA Europa Conference League title.

It is believed the policy was instigated on Monday, with only technical and medical staff reportedly permitted to enter.

Rumours suggest that the final in Budapest could be Mourinho's last game in charge of the Giallorossi, with the Portuguese tactician widely expected to leave the club in the coming weeks.

The ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid manager still has a year left on his contract in Italy, but has been linked with clubs such as Al Hilal and Paris Saint-Germain.

Roma head into Wednesday's clash as the underdogs as they will go up against six-time champions Sevilla, who advanced past Manchester United and Juventus to reach the final.

Mourinho, however, will be motivated as winning the final would see him claim the sixth European crown of his trophy-laden career, having previously won the UEFA Champions League twice, the Europa League twice and the Conference League.
