Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 Gent (2-3 on aggregate)

Tottenham Hotspur were eliminated from the Europa League after losing 3-2 on aggregate to Gent on Thursday evening.

Christian Eriksen handed Spurs the lead on the night, before Harry Kane netted an own goal to level matters for the Belgians.

Victor Wanyama restored Spurs' lead after 61 minutes but Gent secured their spot in the next round thanks to Jeremy Perbet's 82nd minute strike.

APOEL 2-0 Athletic Bilbao (4-2 on aggregate)

Athletic Bilbao were dumped out of the competition after suffering a 4-3 aggregate defeat to APOEL.

Bilbao came into the clash with a 3-2 lead, but Goals from Giannis Gianniotas and Pieros Soteriou secured the win in the second leg to send the Cyprus outfit into the next round.

Roma 0-1 Villarreal (4-1 on aggregate)

AS Roma progressed to the next round of the tournament after claiming a 4-1 aggregate win over Villarreal.

The Yellow Submarine secured the 1-0 win in the second leg, but it wasn't enough to overturn the first leg deficit.

Olympique Lyon 7-1 AZ (11-2 on aggregate)

Lyon stormed into the next round after claiming an emphatic 11-2 aggregate win over Dutch giants, AZ.

Nabil Fekir netted a hat-trick, while Sergi Darder, Maxwel Cornet,  Houssem Aouar and Mouctar Diakhaby were also on target as Lyon bagged seven goals in the second leg.

Fiorentina 2-4 Borussia Monchengladbach (3-4 on aggregate)

Gladbach progressed to the next round of the tournament with a 4-3 aggregate win over Fiorentina.
  A hat-trick from Lars Stindl and a solitary strike from Andreas Christensen saw the German outfit claim a 4-2 win in the second leg, after losing the second leg 1-0.
  Shakhtar Donetsk 0-2 Celta Vigo (1-2 on aggregate)   Goals from Iago Aspas and Gustavo Cabral saw Celta Vigo claim a 2-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk to progress to the last 16 of the competition.   Other results:
