The four-time Africa Player of the Year has not been included in Guardiola's 25-man Champions League squad for the group stages, which casts doubts over his City future.
His agent explained this week that the 33-year-old is likely to sign a pre-contract with another club in January, amid interest from many sides.
"Yaya in January can sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs abroad. He will have many offers from clubs," Dimitri Seluk told Sky Sports.
"China and America, of course they want him, but we will have a lot of offers from England and Europe."
SkySports also revealed that Arsenal and United were interested in the African, but it seems as a move to either of City's big rivals won't happen.
"His agent told me he has also had interest from Manchester United and Arsenal, but he insists a move to either of those clubs would be impossible," a SkySports journalist said.
