Transfer Update: Ansu Fati

With Ansu Fati leaving Barcelona on loan for Brighton Hove Albion in the recent transfer window, multiple clubs have reportedly made contact with his camp to sign him permanently.

The Spain international is currently representing the Seagulls in the Premier League after deciding to leave the Catalan club on deadline day of the previous window.

Following his switch to England, Barcelona president Joan Laporta said the winger would be returning from his loan spell at the end of the campaign, but recent reports suggest that is far from certain.

It is claimed that Fati will need to improve on his performances at Brighton in order to work his way back into Barca's plans, while Sport reports that clubs in the Middle East are looking to move for the 20-year-old.

Right now, it is believed the young attacker is against the idea of making a move to the Saudi Pro League at this stage, but it is further stated that his camp "would welcome the possibility".

Fati has scored just a single goal in four Premier League appearances so far under Roberto De Zerbi, who played a key role in Brighton's decision to sign the player on temporary deal in August.
