It has been claimed that Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku could make a £90 million (R1.7 billion) move back to the Premier League.
According to The Sun, Chelsea could be lining up a massive bid for the 27-year-old Belgium international.
Lukaku's first spell in Europe's top five leagues was with the Blues, whom he joined as a teenager from Anderlecht in 2011.
It is claimed the London club is weighing up a £90 million offer for the striker, who has been remarkably prolific since his exit from Manchester United in 2019.
Lukaku has scored an incredible 61 goals in 91 matches for Inter since, and is closing in on his first Serie A title with the club.
The Nerazzurri are currently 11 points clear of Atalanta at the top of the league table, with only five games left to be played.
The Belgian forward failed to score a single goal in his 15 senior appearances for the Blues before making a permanent switch to Everton in 2017, but could be the man Thomas Tuchel targets amid Timo Werner's struggles in front of goal.
Following the Germany international's big-money switch from RB Leipzig to Chelsea last year, he has scored just 11 times in 45 matches to date, with reports suggesting that the club might already be looking to replace him.
