Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has asked his club to allow him to leave, according to reports.

The former FC Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder has endured a tough season with the Blues so far, and was part of the group of players booed by fans after former manager Jose Mourinho's exit from Stamford Bridge.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport has now reported that he has asked to leave after hearing that new coach Guus Hiddink plans to drop him from the starting line-up.
The report also claimed that Inter Milan and Juventus are the favourites for his signature, with Fabregas seeking a new challenge and aiming to claim a league title in a third country.

The Spaniard has made 71 appearances for Chelsea, scoring six goals and assisting a further 27 strikes. However, only two of those assists have come in this season's Premier League campaign.
