Report: Mohamed Salah Confronted by pitch invader after Liverpool

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was not a happy man after being confronted by a pitch invader on Saturday evening.

The Reds kept the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea with a 4-0 thrashing of Southampton at Anfield on Saturday evening.

Salah was surprisingly not on the scoresheet despite playing the entire game, although he remains the top scorer in the league with 11 goals.

However, a supporter attempted to get an image with the Reds star after the game but the Egyptian looked less than impressed and seemingly called security, as per The Sun.

The fan was not able to get the same reward as the young fan who ran onto the pitch and grabbed the match-ball in the Reds' UEFA Champions League win over FC Porto on Wednesday.

Security escorted the supporter off the field and Salah made his way down the tunnel after an impressive display from the hosts.

Salah and the Reds will now turn their attention to Wednesday's Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park.
