Reports suggest that Chelsea are now plotting a move for Harry Kane, and could offer Romelu Lukaku in exchange.
Barcelona Star Reveals Why He Chose Blaugrana Over Chelsea
Newly appointed Chelsea boss Graham Potter is reportedly a massive fan of Tottenham Hotspur's star striker Kane, and is keen to take the Englishman to Stamford Bridge.
With less than two years remaining on his current deal with the Lilywhites, the Blues are said to be ready to pounce for the forward, and according to Calciomercato, they could offer club-record signing Lukaku to their city rivals as a means to lure Kane to west London.
The Belgian is currently on loan at Inter Milan, and is said to be happy to be back in the Italian capital, with transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio stating that the Nerazzurri and Chelsea have already agreed a deal in principle to have Lukaku spend another season on loan at the San Siro.
While the 29-year-old has expressed his happiness at being back at Inter and will most likely be eager to stay in Serie A, a move back to London would afford him the opportunity to play under Antonio Conte once again, a manager he was at his most prolific under between 2019 and 2021.
Kane might, however, be reluctant to cross such a volatile city divide given the rivalry between Spurs and Chelsea, with the Tottenham academy product reportedly said to be keener on joining Bayern Munich if he is to leave north London.
