Former Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has described Paul Pogba as the most complete midfielder he's ever played with.
The Spaniard, who joined the Red Devils from Athletic Bilbao in 2014, enjoyed five years at Old Trafford, helping the club win the Europa League, the FA Cup, and the League Cup before his move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.
The 30-year-old, who has just come off winning his first Ligue 1 title after France's top-flight campaign was ended prematurely due to the coronavirus pandemic, has shared the main reason why he believes Pogba's talent stands out in comparison to all the other players he's played alongside in midfield so far in his career.
"I give you my opinion: I don't know what other players say but he (Pogba) is a midfielder that has everything," Herrera told The Athletic.
"If you see other midfielders in the world, they may have some qualities – control of the ball, long shots, passes, tackles, box-to-box – but Paul can do all of this, plus head the ball, score goals, make recoveries, one against one... everything.
"But I would add something else. (He is) an NBA athlete with Brazilian feet and the combinations of a Spanish midfielder. He can combine really well – he can do one-two, very quick at high speed. He does have a good attitude."
