Official: 8 Transfers Completed Over Past Week

Manchester United and Chelsea have both announced new signings – here are eight transfers that have been confirmed and announced over the past week!

Man Utd Legend Praises Ronaldo's Replacement

On Friday night, the Red Devils confirmed the arrival of Netherlands international Wout Weghorst on a six-month loan deal from English Championship side Burnley. The 30-year-old joins United as a striker replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo and could be in line for a debut this week.

Erik ten Hag's men will take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Wednesday night, when they will be hoping to claim a 10th straight victory since their 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa early in November.

Talented French prospect Georginio Rutter, meanwhile, has become Leeds United's fourth-most expensive signing in history after Daniel James, Rodrigo and Brenden Aaronson, joining the Whites for €28 million (R516 million) from Hoffenheim.

The striker, 20, came through at Rennes in France before joining the Bundesliga club in February 2021, contributing to 19 goals in 64 appearances across all competitions prior to his move to England's top division.

Chelsea made two more additions over the past week in the form of Joao Felix, who has already made his debut for the Blues in which he was sent off, and Ukraine winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, who was unveiled at Stamford Bridge this past weekend.

The 22-year-old has committed to a long-term deal at the London giants after appearing interested in joining Arsenal, with Chelsea believed to have forked out a staggering €70 million (R1.2 billion) up front for the exciting winger.
