New English Giants 'Enter Race' To Sign Osimhen

A new Premier League side has reportedly joined the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal in the race for Victor Osimhen's signature.

A new Premier League giant is reportedly ready to rival two of their league rivals in an attempt to sign Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian is set to be hot property in the upcoming transfer windows, with many of Europe's top clubs believed to be set to test Napoli's resolve regarding their talisman.

The Lagos native is approaching the final year of his contract in southern Italy, and is said to be reluctant to extend his stay in Naples.

The club and the player's representatives are also reported to have arrived at an impasse regarding a release clause in a prospective new deal.

Couple this with tensions between him and head coach Rudi Garcia seemingly rising, and the fact that the club appeared to mock him on social media recently, and Osimhen could be leaving the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona sooner rather than later.

Arsenal and Chelsea are believed to be long-time admirers of the pacey attacker as far as English clubs are concerned, but according to The Sun, Liverpool could also be firmly in the race to land the 24-year-old marksman's signature.

The Reds are bracing themselves for what looks like the inevitable departure of Mohamed Salah to Saudi Arabia in the near future, and are looking at players who could potentially replace his prolific goalscoring form.

Last season, Osimhen won the Serie A Golden Boot after scoring 26 times in the division as he helped Gli Azzurri to their first league title in 33 years.

The ex-Lille man has continued that form in this campaign, with six goals in eight appearances in the Italian top flight.

It is further claimed that the Reds recently sent scouts to watch the striker play for his national team in the latest international break, and although he came off injured against Mozambique on Monday evening, the same report suggests that Jurgen Klopp knows enough about the player to feel he could be a fitting addition to his playing roster.
