Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked with the Manchester United job, so we decided to take a look at the Portuguese manager's record against the top English sides.
Reports: Man Utd To Give Mourinho £300m War Chest
Despite being sacked by the Blues after a woeful start to the 2015/16 campaign, Mourinho remains one of the world's top coaches.
The Portuguese was heavily criticised for how his Chelsea team played in the first half of the season, but looking at his record against top English opposition, it's clear Mourinho knows how to beat the "big" teams.
The Portuguese has beaten Liverpool 11 times in his career, more than he has beaten any other team, while Tottenham Hotspur are in at second – he has 10 wins in 16 matches against the London club.
Mourinho has played against the Red Devils, the team he could possibly manage next season, 20 times, winning nine of those games and losing on only three occasions, and he has only lost three times in 14 matches against Manchester City, winning seven of those fixtures.
The former Real Madrid mentor has lost to Arsene Wenger's Arsenal only once in his career, a very impressive statistic considering he has gone up against the Gunners on 15 occasions, beating the London team eight times.

While it remains speculation for now, these records could be vital in the United board's decision to hire Mourinho next season.
