The Portuguese manager said that last season was all about building a winning squad for this season's campaign, and it's looking like Jose Mourinho has done exactly that by lifting his first trophy of the 2014/15 season.
Chelsea have looked the most complete squad in the English Premier League this season, with many of their second-string players arguably capable of walking in to most sides in the league.
Mourinho's men have high hopes of winning the Champions League, and look favourites to progress through to the next round, as they will head in to the second-leg of the Round of 16 with an away-goal advantage against Paris Saint-Germain.
In the league they have been close to unstoppable, where they have won 18 games from their 26 - drawing six of them and losing two. They currently top the table, and have the chance of widening the gap to eight points on Manchester City due to their game in hand.
Mourinho said at the start of the season that his Chelsea side will set their sights on every trophy possible, however, the FA Cup is out of the picture after being eliminated in the earlier rounds.
The 52-year-old's squad is filled with massive talent, including the likes of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa, and Mourinho is always looking for ways to improve his young, talented side.
