Despite Erling Haaland recently putting pen to paper on a five-year deal with Manchester City, his father, Alfe-Inge Haaland, does not anticipate his son seeing out the duration of his contract with the Citizens.

According to the former defensive midfielder, his son might only be in the Premier League for the next two-and-a-half years.
The Norwegian hitman switched Borussia Dortmund and Signal Iduna Park for the Etihad Stadium earlier this year, but the rest of the English top flight may not have to worry about Haaland for too long as his father expects his son to ply his trade in as many leagues as possible while still at the top of his game.
"I think Erling wants to test out his capabilities in every league. Then he can stay in every league for three to four years maximum," the former Leeds United man says in newly released documentary Haaland – The Big Decision, as per The Daily Mail.
"He could have two-and-a-half years in Germany, two-and-a-half in England, and then in Spain, Italy, France, right?
"We do not know if it will be like that, but I think he would like to test his abilities in the big leagues."
The forward could have decided to join a number of other major clubs but opted for the Citizens, and so far in England, he has made things look easy, scoring in every Premier League game he's played, bar one.
