The Belgian forward is once again beginning to find form, and for Inter Milan it couldn't come at a better time. His most recent assist against AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals helped ensure the Nerazzurri's passage to their first final in the competition in 13 years.
According to The Telegraph, it is after the UCL decider in Istanbul that the 30-year-old's future in west London will be discussed.

Pochettino is expected to take the reins in the English capital yet again, this time for Chelsea, and is now said to be open to integrating the explosive forward into his set-up, but it is believed the decision on Lukaku's return will ultimately rest with the striker himself.
The same report claims the Antwerp native would prefer to stay in Milan, but it remains to be seen whether or not they will be able to afford his transfer fee and wages.
His desire to stay at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium understandable, given that his initial return to Chelsea was an unfruitful one. After the two-time European champions paid a club record €113 million (R2.3 billion) to sign Lukaku from Inter in 2021, the forward scored just eight Premier League goals that season and fell out with then-manager Thomas Tuchel, before heading back to Serie A on a loan deal in this campaign.
