Argentina superstar Angel Di Maria has rubbished claims that he is planning on leaving Manchester United this summer, but did admit that he isn't happy with his bench role.
Reports: Barca Chasing Di Maria
Di Maria's future at the club has been a little uncertain over the past few months, as Paris Saint Germain, Bayern Munich and now Barcelona have been linked with the winger.
The 27-year-old, who is on international duty in the Copa America, was asked whether he wants to leave the Red Devils in the summer, but according to him he would like to stay and prove his worth.
"No, because I'm not thinking like that," Di Maria told Argentine newspaper Ole.
"In Madrid there were times when I was whistled around the stadium but faced it and then it turned around. I like to deal with things."
Di Maria admitted that his family have been a little unsettled in England, but vowed to fight for a starting place in the coming season.
"Yes [it has been frustrating], for me, and my family," he added
"Because not everything goes as I want, because I don't play, I came with an intention and end up on the bench. It's hard to tell how I feel there.
"I started well, with goals and assists. I was having a good time, until I was out. It's a little hard to explain why I do not play."
The Argentine had a disappointing first season at the Red Devils, but still managed to assist 10 goals and score three of his own.
