Angel Di Maria's wife has taken to Instagram to rubbish rumours that the midfielder is unhappy at Manchester United.
The 26-year-old, moved to Old Trafford from Real Madrid for a club-record £59.7 million this summer, scoring three goals and making five more in nine Premier League appearances.
Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Scholes recently claimed that Di Maria is unhappy at United, but Jorgelina Cardoso, Di Maria's wife, has dismissed the rumours, posting a picture of her husband's successes at Old Trafford.
"You are free to think whatever you want, but in fact, Angel is absolutely happy of being in Manchester United," she wrote on Instagram.
Cristiano Ronaldo was openly critical of Real Madrid for letting the Argentine leave the the Liga club and media reports in Spain have suggested that Carlo Ancelotti may consider letting Gareth Bale move to the Red Devils in a swap deal to bring Di Maria back to the Bernabeu.
Di Maria made 190 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring 36 goals while assisting in a further 87 more.
