Barca and Real will go head to head in a politically charged derby this evening when they meet at the Camp Nou in Barcelona. The match, which was rescheduled from its original date in October, was once again under threat amid ongoing protests in Catalonia but is anticipated to proceed on time.

On the pitch, the Blaugrana are unbeaten against Los Blancos in their past six meetings across all competitions, with Real's last win in the Clasico coming back in the Spanish Super Cup in August 2017.

The two sides are currently separated at the top of the LaLiga standings by goal difference only, with Barca narrowly pipping Real for the lead, while both teams are four points ahead of third-placed Sevilla, who have played one match more.

Real boss Zinedine Zidane will be without no fewer than five players for the showpiece clash, with Eden Hazard, Marcelo, James Rodriguez, Marco Asensio and Lucas Vasquez ruled out through injury, while Arthur and Ousmane Dembele miss out for Ernesto Valverde's Barca.
