Tottenham 5-0 Gillingham FC

A brace from Christian Eriksen helped Tottenham Hotspur crush Gillingam FC 5-0 in an EFL Cup match at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.

The other three goals were scored by Vincent Janssen (penalty goal), Joshua Onomah and Erik Lamela as Tottenham moved into the next round of the EFL Cup.

QPR 1-2 Sunderland

Two goals from Paddy McNair in the 70th and 80th minute saw Sunderland come from behind to beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 in an EFL Cup match at Loftus Road on Wednesday night.

Sandro scored the opening goal of the game for QPR on the hour mark.

West Ham 1-0 Accrington

West Ham made life tough for themselves with a 96th minute goal from Dimitri Payet handing the London-based club a hard-fought 1-0 win over Accrington in an EFL Cup match at Olympic Stadium on Wednesday night.

Stoke City 1-2 Hull City

A 91st minute goal from Markus Henriksen handed Hull City a 2-1 win over Stoke City in an EFL Cup match at Bet365 stadium on Wednesday night.

Marko Arnautovic opened the scoring for Stoke in the 24th minute before Ryan Mason equalised on the stroke of halftime for Hull.

Fulham 1-2 Bristol City

A stoppage time goal from Tammy Abraham handed Bristol City a 2-1 win over Fulham in an EFL Cup match at Craven Cottage on Wednesday night.
