News breaking in Europe is that one of Michael Ballack's sons has tragically died in a quad-biking accident.

According to the Daily Mirror, the former Germany international has lost his middle son, Emilio, to a quad-biking crash in Portugal.

It is said that the 18-year-old died following the accident in the early hours of Thursday morning near a house in Portugal the family had purchased many years ago.
Emilio was one of three sons Ballack has with long-time partner Simone Lambe.
