The England international was the star of the show after bagging three goals and two assists on the day.
According to the Sun, Kane's three goals do not count as an official hat-trick in Germany as there were two other scorers between his first and second goal, and another between his second and third goal.
All three goals need to be in the same half and scored consecutively, with no other player scoring in between in order for a player register a hat-trick.
Despite the bizarre rule in Germany, Kane was delighted with the output from every player on the pitch.
"We made it look easy. It could have been really difficult but everyone was sharp and we took advantage of our speed on the wings," Kane told Sky Sports.
"It was a wonderful game, everyone was at their limits."
