Margeman’s exit comes after two standout seasons in Tshwane, where he racked up over 4,600 minutes in 54 league appearances.
The 27-year-old earned the Players’ Player of the Season award for 2022/23 and was a constant fixture in the midfield, delivering multiple Man of the Match performances and helping SuperSport maintain their competitive edge in the DStv Premiership.
In an emotional message shared by his representatives, Margeman thanked SuperSport United for giving him the platform to grow as a player and person, while expressing heartfelt gratitude for the support he received during his stay.
“SuperSport gave me the platform to lead, to grow, and to feel at home,” read part of the statement, highlighting the deep connection he formed with the club.
However, Siya sources have revealed that Margeman has opted not to be part of the squad that will relocate to Bloemfontein as part of the club’s sale to Siwelele.
His decision reflects the uncertainty facing many SuperSport players, with more exits expected in the coming days as the reality of the sale and relocation begins to settle in.
