The story
Supersport International confirmed the sale of 'Matsatsantsa' yesterday to Siwelele FC, putting to an end the existance of one of South Africa's top teams.
Many talents came through the doors of the Pretoria based club and went on to achieve great things in their careers.
Pitso Mosimane sharpened his coaching acumen at the club, winning several titles during his tenure, whilst talents such as Ronwen Williams, Khanyisa Mayo, Daine Klate and Kermit Erasmus came through it's development.
Williams, now with Mamelodi Sundowns, was one such player to bid farewell to his former club with pictures of his time there from the juniors all the way up to first team football.
"Thank you SuperSport United FC for everything you have given me, so sad to see the club gone", wrote Shandre Campbell on his Instagram account.
